He has made appearances with the Beethoven Orchester Bonn, ORF Radio- Symphonieorchester Wien, Tonkünstler-Orchester, Wiener Kammer Orchester, Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, Orchestra dell’Opera Carlo Felice Genova, Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Concerto Köln, Sinfonia Varsovia, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Polish Radio Orchestra, NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra and NFM Wrocław Philharmonic. He has collaborated with such distinctive artists as Gidon Kremer, Julian Rachlin, Gábor Boldoczki, Maurice Steger, Angela Hewitt, Katia and Marielle Labeque, Lawrence Power, Martin Grubinger, Erwin Schrott, Tomasz Konieczny, Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, Cameron Carpenter and Xavier de Maistre.
His work as an opera conductor ranges from works by Georg Philipp Telemann and Christoph Willibald Gluck, through Gaetano Donizetti and Antonín Dvořák, to modern rarities by Grigory Fried and Michael Nyman. He led the production of Wagner’s Nibelungenring für Kinder at Wiener Staatsoper.

He conducted the Polish premieres of Krzysztof Penderecki’s Adagio for strings and Musik for Recorders, Marimba, Percussion and Strings. He also participated in the world premiere of the composer’s quintet Leaves of an Unwritten Diary and Duo concertante. Jurek Dybał conducted the world premiere of Penderecki’s Concertino per tromba e orchestra; the Sony Classical CD with this piece on received a prestigious International Classical Music Award. He was the music director of the Silesian Opera critically acclaimed production of Penderecki’s opera Ubu Król. Premiere performance of the fragments of sketches for the opera Phaedra with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the highlights of Jurek Dybał’s current season.
The conductor is the founder and director of the Krzysztof Penderecki International Music Festival – level 320 held in Zabrze. He paid a musical tribute to his Master during the official funeral ceremonies, conducting his compositions.
Jurek Dybał received a Fryderyk award twice, as well as a Golden Mask and Jan Kiepura Theatre Award for ‘Best Conductor’. Recently, he took over the substantive and artistic management of the residency of the NUSO Orchestra from Kharkiv (Ukraine) in Poland and began tight cooperation with Stuttgarter Kammerorchester.
