Kakhi Solomnishvili is a Georgian conductor. He was born on May 9th, 1990, in Tbilisi, Georgia. Hismusical career began as a pianist, actively participating in concerts and festivals.
In 2007, he passed examsat the Conducting faculty of Tbilisi State Conservatoire, where he graduated in 2013 with a Master’s Degree. Alongside his studies, he received Opera and Symphonic Conducting lessons from Maestro Gianluca Marciano, who was the Principal Conductor at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre at that time.
In 2011, Kakhi Solomnishvili became the Assistant Conductor at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater. Since2014, he has been the Conductor of the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater. Starting from 2016, he has activelycollaborated with the Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra, becoming its Conductor in 2017. Since 2022, hehas been actively collaborating with Teatro Colón and the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 2017, Kakhi was honored with the “Tsinandali Award” in music. In 2021, he served as an assistantconductor at the “Tsinandali Festival.” Since 2022, he has been assisting Maestro Charles Dutoit. He hasworked with the Polish Baltic Frédéric Chopin Philharmonic Orchestra, The Israel Sinfonietta Beer-Shava, as well as variousfestivaland youth orchestras. His future collaborations include Teatro Colón, the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra.
