Signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation
Florence, Italy, from March 2 to 4, 2025 – During a delegation led by Zhou Hongbo, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee of Nanjing, to carry out economic, trade and cultural cooperation and exchange activities in Italy, Nanjing Cultural Investment Holding Group (hereinafter referred to as “Nanjing Cultural Investment Group”) signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation with Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Italy. It marks a new stage of in-depth cooperation between Nanjing and Florence, two famous historical and cultural cities, in the field of art.
The signing ceremony was held in Florence, Italy, and under the joint promotion of Armstrong Music & Arts and Poly Armstrong. The two parties reached multiple agreements on deepening cultural exchanges, joint artistic production, and talent development. Evita Zhang, who serves as the Global Chief Operating Officer of Armstrong Music and Arts Management and the Executive General Manager of Poly Armstrong, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony along with other important guests.
According to the memorandum, the collaboration will feature a 2025 summer concert in Nanjing conducted by world-renowned maestro Zubin Mehta and performed by the Florence Maggio Musicale Symphony Orchestra, offering Nanjing citizens a high-caliber classical music experience. Over the next five years, the partnership will establish a long-term cooperation framework across four key areas: joint artistic creation, international cultural exchange programs, young artist incubation initiatives, and shared cultural brand development. These efforts aim to foster mutual learning between Chinese and Italian cultural resources and advance Nanjing’s vision of becoming a globally influential cultural hub.
This strategic collaboration will leverage both parties’ resource advantages to promote more high-quality cultural projects, injecting new momentum into global civilizational dialogue. It will also write a new chapter in the cultural exchange between the two ancient capitals.
