Wray Armstrong, the founder of Armstrong Music & Arts, was invited by the Center for China and Globalization to attend the launch of the new book Consensus or Conflict: China and Globalization in the 21st century, jointly edited by Alistair Michie, the winner of the Chinese Government’s Friendship Award and Dr. Huiyao Wang, Counselor for China State Council, and delivered a speech on the theme of “mutual appreciation of civilizations”.
In April, he was invited to give a speech on the topic of Tours and international orchestra in China at the Philharmonie de Paris webinar, while in November he was invited to talk about training young artists at the Beijing Forum for Symphonic Music 2021.
In addition, Wray was appointed as one of the judges for the Community and Culture Award at the China Social Impact Awards 2021, organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in China and in partnership with the United Nations China.
